What's it like to attend a Rainbow Circle Meeting?

Each Rainbow Circle meeting starts with a brief check in. We’ll ask you to share your preferred name and pronouns, something good that happened recently, and something you’re struggling with. Following the check in, the facilitator will lead the group in a discussion giving everyone an opportunity to elaborate on what they might be struggling with, ask the group to share encouragement, similar experiences, and what has helped them in the past. We’ll close the meeting with about ten minutes left by having each person share something they’re going to do over the next week for their mental and emotional health.

Participants do not need to have a mental health condition or mental health crisis to attend a meeting. All LGBTQIA2S+ people are welcome to attend no matter where they are in their journey or what’s going on in their lives.

Additionally, participants are welcome to share as much or as little as they want. We want everyone to participate in whatever way feels most comfortable for them so there’s no need to share if you don’t want to.
